On 16th October, 4 pm, the Leader of ESAP's Theatre Course, Roberto Merino, will give a talk at the Theatre Festival José Guimarães
The Oporto Card, launched on April 5, is intended for individuals with tax domicile in Porto and minor children in their care, as well as students who can simultaneously prove that they study at an educational establishment located in the city and reside in a room/house rented in its own name, in Porto.

The book “História do Cinema – Dos primórdios ao Cinema Contemporâneo”, recently published by Edições 70, is edited by Nelson Araújo, Professor and Director of the BA in Cinema and Audiovisual.

"The invisible side of water" was screened at the European Conference of the Humanities, an event organized by FCT. The film was sponsored by ESAP and CEAA.
The short film Flashbulb memories (2015), directed by Carlos Trindade, professor at ESAP and Director of the Fine Arts and Intermedia Degree, won the awards for "Best Experimental Film" and "Best Editing" [Critics Award] at the Festival De Indie, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu (India), where it was in competition as part of the Official Selection, which ran from July 16-18, 2021.
Two films produced within the scope of the Postgraduate Course in Cinema and Audiovisuals at ESAP, have just been selected to be part of the competitions of the 25th AVANCA - International Meetings of Cinema, Television, Video and Multimedia, which will take place at the later this month.
As the winner of the "III Drawing Biennale of Almada - Pedro de Sousa Award, 2020", Carlos Trindade, professor at ESAP and Course Leader of the Degree in Visual Arts and Intermedia, is holding a solo exhibition titled Continuities at Solar dos Zagallos (Almada). The exhibition is sponsored by the City Council of Almada, and it is from July 17 to August 29.
“The cocoon thread“, a film by Vanessa Fernandes and the member of the teaching staff of the BA in Cinema and Audiovisual Ivo Reis, was part of Cine Córdoba Festival competition.
ESAP is represented at the 29th Vila do Conde Short Films – International Film Festival, with the inclusion of three short films in the Take One!, directed by Ana S. Carvalho, Alexandra Guimarães and Gonçalo L. Almeida, from the Cinema and Audiovisual Bachelor Degree and Hernâni dos Santos, from Master's Degree in Directing: Cinema and Television.
