“A Batalha de Tabatô”, by João Viana

The two Portuguese films are part of the installation “Interspecies Cinematic Encounters”, by Jean-Michel Frodon and Rasha Salti and will be shown at the Center Pompidou-Metz, from 18 September.

 

A Batalha de Tabatô”, by João Viana, and “Chuva é Cantoria na Aldeia dos Mortos”, by João Salaviza and Renée Nader Messor, are part of the list of 18 films forming the installation, curated by Bruno Latour and which, shown in the Taipei Museum of Fine Arts, as part of the Taipe Biennale, Taiwan. In about four months the project was visited by 150 thousand spectators.
