The Bachelor degree in Theater aims to deepen the mastery of the mechanisms inherent to the theatrical creation, fundamentally in the territory of Acting. During the training course, of university level, and in the scope of the projects to be developed, the student has the opportunity to contact with the professional structures of the theatrical field. This cycle of studies proposes an interdisciplinary professional formation, in a contemporary perspective. Due to the broad nature of its study plan, the multiplicity of professional exits is favored in accordance with the acquired learning.

Jorge Palinhos é escritor e dramaturgo. As suas obras já foram apresentadas e/ou editadas em Portugal, Brasil, Espanha, Estados Unidos da América, França, Países Baixos, Bélgica, Alemanha, Suíça e Sérvia, em espaços como o Teatro Nacional São João, o Teatro Meridional, o Teatro Municipal Rivoli e Teatro Municipal Campo Alegre, o Teatro Beursschouwburg, em Bruxelas, o Teatro Schaubühne, em Berlim, o Graham Institute, de Chicago, o SESC de São Paulo, La Comédie de Reims, CDN Orléans, o Teatro Nanterre-Amandiers, em Paris, etc.

Foi galardoado com o Prémio Miguel Rovisco 2003 e o Prémio Manuel-Deniz Jacinto 2007, e esteve na short-list do Prémio Luso-Brasileiro de Teatro António José da Silva 2011.

Luisa Pinto é doutorada em Estudos Artísticos, Artes/Estudos Teatrais e Performativos pela Universidade de Coimbra. Mestre em Teatro/Encenação, pela Escola Superior Artística do Porto - ESAP. Encenadora, professora de Teatro  na ESAP e investigadora/colaboradora no Centro de Estudos Arnaldo Araújo-FCT. Diretora Artística da Companhia de Teatro Narrativensaio-AC. Enquanto encenadora levou à cena mais de trinta peças, entre elas, Missa do Galo de Carlos Tê, Sicrano de Bergerac de Jorge Louraço Figueira, Onde o Frio Se Demora de Ana Cristina Pereira, Gota D’água de Heron Coelho a partir da obra de Chico Buarque, Cânticos de Barbearia de Carlos Tê, O Deserto de Medeia de Marta Freitas, O Filho Pródigo de Helder Wasterlain e João Maria André, entre outros. Os seus espetáculos circulam por todo país e também a nível internacional como Espanha e Brasil, onde normalmente orienta também oficinas de teatro. As suas criações marcam presença regularmente em festivais de teatro como o FITEI, Festival de Almada, Vinte e Sete, Serralves em Festa, Festa do Avante, entre outros. Ao longo dos anos, a par com a encenação, desenhou figurinos para várias companhias de teatro e para filmes, entre eles, Alice de Marco Martins. Nos últimos anos, assina também a cenografia e os figurinos dos seus espetáculos. Entre 2007 e 2015 foi Diretora Artística do Teatro Municipal de Matosinhos Constantino Nery. Foi ideóloga e Diretora Artística do Cena Contemporânea de Matosinhos em Português – Festival de Teatro. Desde 2006 investiga e realiza projetos de Teatro em Contexto Prisional. Foi autora e apresentadora de programas de Televisão para a RTPN. Foi diretora de imagem de canais de Televisão como RTPN, MTV Portugal e Porto Canal. Foi corealizadora do documentário Rompendo os Muros da Prisão - O teatro como meio de reinserção de reclusos.

Eduarda Neves is a professor of contemporary art theory and criticism, an area in which she has published various articles and books. She is also an independent curator. Her research and curatorial activity interweaves the fields of art, philosophy and politics. Since February 2019 she has collaborated on the journal “Contemporânea”. Her most recent books are: O Auto-retrato. Fotografia e Subjectivação. Lisboa: Ed. Palimpsesto | Ceaa, 2016 [shortlisted for the Pen Club award in the category of Essay, 2017] and in 2020, Nem-Isto-Nem-Aquilo. In 2021, 35 Degrees Celsius. Essays on contemporary art, from the same publisher. She is preparing publication of her next book Bestiaries. Nuno Lucena was born in 1974, Vila Nova de Gaia. He completed in 2001 a Ba in Design and Scenography, Escola Superior de Música e do Espetáculo. During his education he worked in children theatre in Hogsckolen (Norway). NR graduated in Sculpture at FBAUP/School of Fine Arts, University of Porto (1999), and holds an MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute (2008). In 2011 he began a PhD research in Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and completed it at FBAUP/School of Fine Arts, University of Porto. Since 1999 he has been developing his work in the field of visual arts, individually and in collaboration with other artists, in areas such as drawing, installation, sculpture, performance, sound, video and curatorial practices. He has held 17 solo exhibitions, 5 of which in collaboration with fellow artists, and participated in over 60 group shows in Portugal, Brazil, Spain, USA, Norway, UK, Russia and Germany. He was the curator of 7 exhibitions, and since 2016 he is the programmer of the Portuguese video art and moving image screening project Playlist, held in Porto, with 42 shows produced and presented so far. Together with Isabel Ribeiro and Susana Chiocca, he was responsible for the Recursos Humanos / Human Resources programme, a series of talks dedicated to the public presentation and discussion of works and creation processes by artists, architects, designers and others. His work is represented in institutional collections such as CAV - Centro de Artes Visuais and the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, as well as in several private collections. In 2002 he was resident artist at Triangle France, Marseille, and in 2004 he was one of the nominees for the EDP Young Artists award in Portugal. Between 2006 and 2008 he was the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship, and the Louise Woods Memorial scholarship. He was also awarded a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Art Research grant between 2011 and 2015. From 2000 to 2005 he collaborated with the education program of the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art. He was teaching assistant in the New Genres course at the San Francisco Art Institute in 2007, and in 2011 began teaching at the BFA in Photography program, ESAP - Porto Art School, where he leads a seminar on Portuguese video art since 2017. He lives and works in Porto and is represented by Graça Brandão gallery, Lisbon.

Nuno Meireles holds a degree in Theater Studies from ESMAE and a PhD in Child Studies / Drama Education from UMinho. He made his debut as an actor at Expo 98 with the Porto Puppet Theater. He regularly participates in recitals of poetry and in staged readings of poems such as "Tabacaria" by Álvaro de Campos and "Mensagem" by Fernando Pessoa. Author of the dramatic texts "House of so many pictures" and "The last days of the daily life of Helene K.", was responsible for the dramaturgy and staging of "Leixai me to hear and plead - music and drama in Gil Vicente" and "The Complete Works of Gil Vicente in 45 minutes.
