The Bachelor degree in Theater aims to deepen the mastery of the mechanisms inherent to the theatrical creation, fundamentally in the territory of Acting. During the training course, of university level, and in the scope of the projects to be developed, the student has the opportunity to contact with the professional structures of the theatrical field. This cycle of studies proposes an interdisciplinary professional formation, in a contemporary perspective. Due to the broad nature of its study plan, the multiplicity of professional exits is favored in accordance with the acquired learning.

Doctorate in Architecture (Program Problems of Architecture and modern city: theory, history, projects) by ETSA of the University of Valladolid. She has been a professor at ESAP since 1986. She is Coordinator of the Autonomous Section of Theory and History and Vice-President of the Scientific Council of ESAP.  Jorge Palinhos has a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, and a Master's degree in Terminology and Translation, with a thesis on Text Studies, and a PhD in Cultural Studies. In theater he is the author of several plays published and presented in Portugal, Brazil, Spain, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Serbia, Germany and the USA. He was awarded the Miguel Rovisco Prize 2003, the 2007 Manuel-Deniz Jacinto Prize, and was a finalist of the António José da Silva Prize in 2011. He collaborated with different Portuguese and International theatre groups and venues. He was a playwright and guest dramaturgist for the European Capital of Culture Guimarães 2012. He is in the Editorial Board of Aniki journal, and vice-director of Plateia.

Luisa Pinto é doutorada em Estudos Artísticos, Artes/Estudos Teatrais e Performativos pela Universidade de Coimbra. Mestre em Teatro/Encenação, pela Escola Superior Artística do Porto - ESAP. Encenadora, professora de Teatro  na ESAP e investigadora/colaboradora no Centro de Estudos Arnaldo Araújo-FCT. Diretora Artística da Companhia de Teatro Narrativensaio-AC. Enquanto encenadora levou à cena mais de trinta peças, entre elas, Missa do Galo de Carlos Tê, Sicrano de Bergerac de Jorge Louraço Figueira, Onde o Frio Se Demora de Ana Cristina Pereira, Gota D’água de Heron Coelho a partir da obra de Chico Buarque, Cânticos de Barbearia de Carlos Tê, O Deserto de Medeia de Marta Freitas, O Filho Pródigo de Helder Wasterlain e João Maria André, entre outros. Os seus espetáculos circulam por todo país e também a nível internacional como Espanha e Brasil, onde normalmente orienta também oficinas de teatro. As suas criações marcam presença regularmente em festivais de teatro como o FITEI, Festival de Almada, Vinte e Sete, Serralves em Festa, Festa do Avante, entre outros. Além da formação em teatro, em 1989, concluiu o curso de Moda da Escola de Moda Gudi, foi premiada pelo Instituto de Comércio Externo de Portugal – ICEP - com um estágio em Paris, onde fez uma especialização em figurinos. Ao longo dos anos, a par com a encenação, desenhou figurinos para várias companhias de teatro e para filmes, entre eles, Alice de Marco Martins. Nos últimos anos, assina também a cenografia e os figurinos dos seus espetáculos. Entre 2007 e 2015 foi Diretora Artística do Teatro Municipal de Matosinhos Constantino Nery. Foi ideóloga e Diretora Artística do Cena Contemporânea de Matosinhos em Português – Festival de Teatro. Desde 2006 investiga e realiza projetos de Teatro em Contexto Prisional. Foi autora e apresentadora de programas de Televisão para a RTPN. Foi diretora de imagem de canais de Televisão como RTPN, MTV Portugal e Porto Canal. Foi corealizadora do documentário Rompendo os Muros da Prisão - O teatro como meio de reinserção de reclusos.

He was born in 1974. Graduated in Design of Scenography by the Superior School of Music and Performing Arts in 2001. He finished the course with distinction, having enjoyed a Merit Scholarship. During his training he attended Hogsckolen in Bergen (Norway), where he worked the theater for children. He has developed a study on Italian Classical Theater Machinery. He was Technical Coordinator of XXII FITEI. He developed activity as a puppet builder and manipulator in the Pandora and Circolando companies. As a Scenographer, he has collaborated with the Esbofeteatro (2001), Circolando (2003 - 2006), Panmixia (since 2008), Teatro das Beiras (2009) Teatro Arado (since 2009), as well as with several directors. He has collaborated with Cast Produções, for whom he composed the musicals Cinderella XXI (2010) and Ilha do Tesouro (2011). Pedro Miguel Dias holds a BA in Theatre and Performative Arts, University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, and a MA in Theatre and Production, ESAP. He works as an actor and theatre director with several national theatre companies. He also works regularly for TV advertising, TV series, cinema and cinema dubbing. Pedro Dias is the director of the Academia de Teatro dos Plebeus Avintenses and is a teacher of dramatic expression for primary schools (AECS). In addition, he is also producer in the collective “CRIA”, where he has authored several works related to the production of promotional, corporate, and institutional videos, the production of events and art consultancy. He is one of the founding members of PRIMEIRA PEDRA theatre company. Here, he directed a  “Diary of a Madman” by Nikolai Gogol and “Fools for Love” by Sam Shepard, where he also participates as an actor.
