Curriculum

Bachelor of Fine Arts / Painting by FBAUP (1981). PhD from the University of Vigo (Department of Sculpture, 2014), with the thesis "Art and Memory: Developments and derivations about the concept of memory and its contribution to artistic practice". He was a Fellow of the Foundation for Science and Technology (2009-2012). Since 1982, he has been teaching at ESAP's Higher Arts Courses, of which he was one of the founders, having held various positions. As a plastic artist, he began exhibiting in 1978: he held 5 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 150 collectives, in Portugal and abroad, being represented in some public and private collections. Between 1976 and 1981 he worked in Animation Cinema, including two films subsidized by the Portuguese Cinema Institute, produced by Cinematógrafo - collective of intervention, of which he was one of the founders. In 2015 Trindade re-started working in cinema, having produced two short films which were shown in some international film festivals.

Francisco José da Cruz de Jesus Degree in History - History of Art (Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, 1994), Master in History of Art (Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, 1999), doctorate in Sociology in the Specialty of Sociology of Art and Culture (University of Beira Interior ). He is a professor at ESAP in the areas of Social Sciences and Theory, History and Art Criticism since 2001. He was Coordinator of the Autonomous Section of Social Sciences in the 2010-2012 biennium. He is the author of several articles on social history of art and sociology of art in national and international publications.

Jorge Cunha Pimentel graduated in Fine Arts - Painting from FBAUP, in 1989, and PhD in Arquitecturapela Universidad de Valladolid, in 2014, with the thesis Public Works of Rogério de Azevedo. The years of the SPN / SNI and the DGEMN. He has been a professor at ESAP since 1987. He was Director of the Superior Course of Design and coordinator of the degree of Plastic Arts. She has been developing research in the fields of Architecture History and Architectural Design, with the participation in two ESAP projects already completed or in the process of being completed, around the subject of Design Architecture (2014-2016), as responsible researcher; and participation in the FCT project already completed Photography, Modern Architecture and the "Porto School". Interpretations around the Teófilo Rego Archive (2013-2015), as a member of the research team.

Né Barros, coreógrafa e investigadora no Instituto de Filosofia, Grupo Estética, Política e Conhecimento da Universidade do porto onde concluiu Pós-Doutoramento na área da Estética e Performances. Conclui doutoramento na Universidade de Lisboa, FMH, Master in dance, Laban Centre, City University, Londres, Curso Superior de Teatro, ESAP. Artisticamente, iniciou a sua formação em dança clássica e mais tarde trabalha dança contemporânea e composição coreográfica, nos Estados Unidos, Smith College. Coreografou para o Balleteatro, Companhia Nacional de Bailado, Ballet Gulbenkian e Aura Dance Company. Nos seus projetos artísticos, tem colaborado com diversos artistas, fotógrafos, músicos, realizadores, encenadores e arquitetos. Professora Auxiliar parcial na ESAP. Autora dos livros Performances e Pó-fenomenologia, Da Materialidade na Dança, Dança: o corpo e a casa, Coeditora Performances no Contemporâneo, Artes Performativas: Novos DiscursosDas Imagens FamiliaresDeslocações da IntimidadeUnframing Archives. Tem diversos artigos publicados. Coeditora das Coleções “Estética, Política e Artes” e "Máquinas de Guerra” (FLUP).

Fundadora e codiretora do Balleteatro e do festival internacional de cinema de arquivo, memória e etnografia - Family Film Project.
