Researcher and curator in Contemporary Art. Living between Valencia, Spain and Porto, Portugal. PhD by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He is an assistant professor at ESAP, Escola Superior Artística do Porto. He is an Integrated Researcher at the Arnaldo Araújo Research Center, in the group of Research in Art and Critical Studies. In the field of cultural production he has collaborated with different institutions such as the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Art and Architecture program of the European Capital of Culture, Guimarães 2012. Since 2004 he has been a member of several university research groups at the UPV in Valencia, and UFRGS in Porto Alegre, Brazil, for the development of international cooperation projects, based on the creation of nuclei of thought around new contemporary processes of artistic creation, as well as the investigation of new territories in production, criticism and diffusion of the plastic arts. He is the editor of the book, Infraestructuras emergentes, on the production, management and cultural diffusion. He has developed research on the relations between art, politics and society with an emphasis on spatial and performative arthritic practices. During 2017/18 was curator in residence of the Center of Contemporary Culture - Center del Carme and currently is associated curator in the Galeria Municipal do Porto.

Mª Covadonga Barreiro, graduated in Belas Artes (Univesidade de Vigo, 2006) and Doutorada com Menção Internacional (Universidade de Vigo, 2012). Expôs em various national and international institutions, with the participation of the Correspondências e Hors-Série projects, curated by Eduarda Neves. Tem recebido prémios pela sua trajetória academica (Extraordinary Prize of Bachelor, Extraordinary Award and Award of Investigation in Humanities of Deputação de Pontevedra) and artistic (Prémio Novos Valores, Primeiro Prémio no Certame de Artes Plásticas da Deputação de Ourense ...). É researcher at Centro de Estudos Arnaldo Araújo (Critical Studies and Art Group), professor at the Escola Superior Artística do Porto since 2014 and Professora Associada at the University of Vigo (Spain) since 2017.

Eduarda Neves is a professor of contemporary art theory and criticism, an area in which she has published various articles and books. She is also an independent curator. Her research and curatorial activity interweaves the fields of art, philosophy and politics. Since February 2019 she has collaborated on the journal “Contemporânea”. Her most recent books are: O Auto-retrato. Fotografia e Subjectivação. Lisboa: Ed. Palimpsesto | Ceaa, 2016 [shortlisted for the Pen Club award in the category of Essay, 2017] and in 2020, Nem-Isto-Nem-Aquilo. In 2021, 35 Degrees Celsius. Essays on contemporary art, from the same publisher. She is preparing publication of her next book Bestiaries. In other words, contemporary art.(2022) She holds a degree in Philosophy and a PhD in Aesthetics and is an Assistant Professor at ESAP. She has been researcher in charge of the research group Art and Critical Studies at CEAA since 2013. For the two year period 2019-2020, she has been a member of the Commission for the Acquisition of Contemporary Art for the Portuguese State’s collection. In 2021 she was a member of the Commission for Acquisition of Contemporary Art to the Porto Municipal Collection. Guest editor of #7 Contemporânea journal— Fotografia/Photography. (bilingual ed) December, 2021. She is currently director of the Escola Superior Artística do Porto - ESAP.  + info
