On 18th March, 2.30 pm, we are pleased to welcome the researcher José Luis Vicario, who will present his project Oteiza Tropical: An Artistic Investigation
The Post-Graduation in Curating, Urban Culture and Spatial Practices aims to equip students with the following knowledge and skills:
a) Provide a broad knowledge of the possibilities of curating in its relationship with several contexts, territories and spaces;
b) Introduce contemporary challenges and the reflection on urban, spatial, and territorial phenomena;
c) Enable the in-depth knowledge of notions around urban and visual culture, highlighting the interdependence of contemporary artistic creation with aspects of reality;
d) Provide technical tools for the mapping, registration, planning, and cultural intervention in specific contexts
e) Facilitate the autonomy of each student in the construction of academic and artistic references, research methodologies and project tools that strengthen their practice.

The Post-graduation in Curating, Urban Culture and Spatial Practices participates in the project Escola dos Confins e de Nenhures with the project Relational Spheres in Public Places.
The researcher Mariana Pestana will give a seminar titled Fiction as Curatorial Process as part of the Post-graduate course in Curating, Urban Culture and Spatial Practices.
