The Cinema and Audiovisual bachelor degree presents itself as an open educational path, with the cinematographic process explored in the scope of the artistic practice and in the production of experimental works. With this bachelor degree, of universitary level, it is intended to train qualified filmmakers and / or specialists in the areas transversal to the practice of cinema. The syllabus is broad enough to allow a multiplicity of professional exits in accordance with the acquired learning, namely: artist, film or television director and / or directing professional , production, camera operation, editing sound and post production.
The student also acquires competences that allow him to continue to the research path.

Doctorate in Architecture (Program Problems of Architecture and modern city: theory, history, projects) by ETSA of the University of Valladolid. She has been a professor at ESAP since 1986. She is Coordinator of the Autonomous Section of Theory and History and Vice-President of the Scientific Council of ESAP. He has been developing research in the field of Theory and History of Architecture and History of Photography, and it is worth mentioning the participation in two completed FCT projects: Photography, Modern Architecture and the "Oporto School": Interpretations around the Teófilo Rego Archive (2013-2015) as responsible researcher, and Modernismos do Sul (2014-2015), as a member of the research team.

Filmmaker graduated from La Femis, Paris. Bachelor by the University of Paris III, Sorbonne. Was selected for Cannes Film Festival - Cinéfondation section, with Gaia (2004) and Cinema du Réel, with Circa Me (2002). Made films in collaboration, such as A Cultura do Capital (2003) or Traveling 70'-76 '(2007) and the video installation A Colher (2010), presented in the context of the projects All my independent women and A Question of Gender. Was assistant of Paulo Rocha, Ricardo Leite and Saguenail and assistant assembly of Boris Lehman. Also collaborated with creators from several areas: Ana Deus, Balla Prop, Yasmine Hugonnet, Alejandra Sol, João Costa, Igor Gandra, Joana Providência, João Alves, PAM, Ângelo de Sousa and Dan Graham (for a film presented at the Bienal de S. Paulo). Between 2005 and 2013 collaborated with Serralves Museum in the assembly of audiovisual works and production of cinema cycles. Program sessions and cycles of Cinema in alternative spaces of OPorto. Taught Cinema and Video at FEUP and at Lusófona University of OPorto. Doctorate (scholarship FCT) with investigation in the amateur cinema produced during the Portuguese revolution. Isolino Alves de Sousa has BA in Sciences of Communication, Fernando Pessoa University, an Advanced Studies Diploma from Santiago de Compostela University, a MA awarded by Minho University, and a PhD in Art in Media, Lusófona University of Porto. For more than 40 years he has worked as a television producer, director and programmer for the national TV broadcaster (RTP).Since 1999, Isolino de Sousa has been teaching in several HE institutions. Since 2004, he teaches in the Cinema and Audio-visual BA and the MA in Cinema and Television Directing at ESAP.
Since 2008, Isolino Alves de Sousa is one of the organisers of MIFEC- International Film Festival. In that capacity, he has participated in international and national film festivals and has developed other activities aiming to promote cinema, television and the creative work undertaken by ESAP's students.

Master in Audio-visual Production and Directing (with 20 values), with Title of Specialist in Audio-visual Production and Media, and the course of Television Operator at RTP (Lisbon), José Miguel Moreira is an Assistant teacher at ESMAD, in the Master of Audio-visual and Communication, and also at TCAV Degree. He is also a Visiting Professor at ESAP's Cinema and Audio-visual Degree.
As Screenwriter, Director and Editor, he has screened his films in over 60 national and international film festivals, having won over a dozen awards, either as a screenwriter (Spain, 2002 and 2003), or with the fictions he directed (Videograndprix Grand Prix, 2012; Farcume Grand Prix, 2014, etc.).
