Integrated cycle of studies - 1 st + 2 th cycles - university degree, assigning the master degree, suitable to the Bologna Process, contained in Despacho no. 11958/2013, published in Diário da República, 2nd series, nº 178, of September 16, 2013. Recognized by the European Union since 1994 and accredited by the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES).
The ESAP Architecture Course was the third Architecture course created in Portugal. Recognized by the European Union in 1994 (Directive 85/384 / EEC), it became one of the first three Portuguese Architecture courses whose graduates have their diplomas recognized in all European Union countries. With a wide experience in the training of architects, this course combines a theoretical-critical formation with the practice of an architecture teaching strongly supported in the drawing and that also includes strands like the rehabilitation and the urban project. Installed in the historical center of Oporto, the teaching takes place in an academic environment shared with courses from different artistic areas, allowing a rich enrichment of diversified experiences.

Graduated in Architecture in 1989, by the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. He concluded in 2008 the 3rd Cycle of studies in the Department of Theory and Projects of the Technical School of Architecture of Madrid. Currently developing Thesis in P.D.A. of FAUP, with the title "Censorship and Projection; the Modern Architecture of Porto in the minutes of the Municipal Commission of Art and Archeology between 1940 and 1948 ", guided by Professor Francisco Barata Fernandes. He has been teaching at Escola Superior Artística do Porto since 1994/95. After graduating, he collaborated with the architect Rafael Moneo in Madrid in 1991/92. He started his liberal career in 1994 and leads the R31J.Arquitectos project team. In 2004 he won the 1st prize in the Competition for the Requalification of the Ribeirinha Front of the City of Lagos - Polis Program. In 2006, it received the 1st Prize of Architecture of the Douro, attributed to the project of the Quinta da Touriga Winery, within the framework of the celebrations of the 250 years of this demarcated region. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Northern Regional Section of the Order of Architects for the 2008/2010 triennium. He designed the works completed in 2015, Hotel das Descobertas, located in the Ribeira do Porto and administrative sector in the new factory Ramirez located in Matosinhos. Luís Ferreira Rodrigues holds a degree in Architecture (ESAP 1990) and a PhD in Project Theory and Practice (Department of Architectural Projects of ETSA Madrid). Curriculum
Graduated in Architecture at ESAP - Escola Superior Artística do Porto in 1986. He obtained the degree of "Doctor por la Universidad de Valladolid" by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura of the University of Valladolid, Spain, in 2014. The academic Portuguese Ph.D degree was recognized by the University of Porto, also in 2014. Construction's and Technologies teacher of the Integrated Masters Course of Architecture since 1996. Director of LIAD - Architecture & Design Research Laboratory, a Studies Center of ESAP. Researcher of LIAD, he develops research in the fields of Architecture and Construction and Technologies, being of note that it was Responsible Investigator of two projects ESAP / Investigation already concluded: Thomas Jefferson and the University of Virginia Project andDesign of coating fastening system for ventilated facades. He exercise the profession of Architect since 1986, having held numerous projects of diverse scope. He was a collaborater of Alcino Soutinho between 1987 and 1991.
