Curriculum

Bachelor and Master in History of Art by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. Doctorate in Architecture (Program Problems of Architecture and modern city: theory, history, projects) by ETSA of the University of Valladolid. She has been a professor at ESAP since 1986. She is Coordinator of the Autonomous Section of Theory and History and Vice-President of the Scientific Council of ESAP. He has been developing research in the field of Theory and History of Architecture and History of Photography, and it is worth mentioning the participation in two completed FCT projects: Photography, Modern Architecture and the "Oporto School": Interpretations around the Teófilo Rego Archive (2013-2015) as responsible researcher, and Modernismos do Sul (2014-2015), as a member of the research team.

Holds a degree in History (University of Porto, 1980) and a Master's degree in Administration and Planning of Education, a thesis on History of Design Teaching in Portugal in the 19th century (Portucalense University, 1999), PhD student in History at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. Since 1984, Professor at the Superior School of Art of Porto, he has taught the subjects of History of Art, Cultural History and Mentalities, History of Art in Portugal I, Portrait, and currently History of Art I, History of Architecture and Urbanism I and II, Theory and History of Design, History of Theatre and History of Modernand ContemporaryArt in Portugal. Academic Director of ESAP (1991 to 1997) and President of the Pedagogical Council (2005-2006). Member of ESAP's Scientific Council until 2010. Chairman of the Fiscal Council of CESAP (2009-2015). Member of the IJI (Interdisciplinary Juridical Institute of the Faculty of Law of Porto) since 2003, member of the ESAP Office for the Promotion of Quality (since 2018). His research has been multidisciplinary although particularly focused on the teaching of drawing in Portugal.

Henrique Muga. Degree in Psychology (University of Porto, 1986), Master in Social Psychology (University of Porto, 1998), and PhD in Social Sciences - research line Psychology of Art (Universidade Fernando Pessoa, 2015). He has taught at ESAP since 1987. He is the author of several articles and books in the field of architecture and cinema. He coordinated, in partnership with Porto Lazer, the project "Urban Art - Intervention in Boxes of Electricity", Largo de S. Domingos. He was Chairman of the Pedagogical Council and Deputy Director of the Board of Directors. He is currently integrates CESAP`s Direction.

 Jorge Palinhos has a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, and a Master's degree in Terminology and Translation, with a thesis on Text Studies, and a PhD in Cultural Studies. In theater he is the author of several plays published and presented in Portugal, Brazil, Spain, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Serbia, Germany and the USA. He was awarded the Miguel Rovisco Prize 2003, the 2007 Manuel-Deniz Jacinto Prize, and was a finalist of the António José da Silva Prize in 2011. He collaborated with different Portuguese and International theatre groups and venues. He was a playwright and guest dramaturgist for the European Capital of Culture Guimarães 2012. He is in the Editorial Board of Aniki journal, and vice-director of Plateia.
