Bachelor and Master in History of Art by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. Doctorate in Architecture (Program Problems of Architecture and modern city: theory, history, projects) by ETSA of the University of Valladolid. She has been a professor at ESAP since 1986. She is Coordinator of the Autonomous Section of Theory and History and Vice-President of the Scientific Council of ESAP. He has been developing research in the field of Theory and History of Architecture and History of Photography, and it is worth mentioning the participation in two completed FCT projects: Photography, Modern Architecture and the "Oporto School": Interpretations around the Teófilo Rego Archive (2013-2015) as responsible researcher, and Modernismos do Sul (2014-2015), as a member of the research team.

Francisco José da Cruz de Jesus Degree in History - History of Art (Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, 1994), Master in History of Art (Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, 1999), doctorate in Sociology in the Specialty of Sociology of Art and Culture (University of Beira Interior ). He is a professor at ESAP in the areas of Social Sciences and Theory, History and Art Criticism since 2001. He was Coordinator of the Autonomous Section of Social Sciences in the 2010-2012 biennium. He is the author of several articles on social history of art and sociology of art in national and international publications.

Eduarda Neves is a professor of contemporary art theory and criticism, an area in which she has published various articles and books. She is also an independent curator. Her research and curatorial activity interweaves the fields of art, philosophy and politics. Since February 2019 she has collaborated on the journal “Contemporânea”. Her most recent books are: O Auto-retrato. Fotografia e Subjectivação. Lisboa: Ed. Palimpsesto | Ceaa, 2016 [shortlisted for the Pen Club award in the category of Essay, 2017] and in 2020, Nem-Isto-Nem-Aquilo. In 2021, 35 Degrees Celsius. Essays on contemporary art, from the same publisher. She is preparing publication of her next book Bestiaries. In other words, contemporary art.(2022) She holds a degree in Philosophy and a PhD in Aesthetics and is an Assistant Professor at ESAP. She has been researcher in charge of the research group Art and Critical Studies at CEAA since 2013. For the two year period 2019-2020, she has been a member of the Commission for the Acquisition of Contemporary Art for the Portuguese State’s collection. In 2021 she was a member of the Commission for Acquisition of Contemporary Art to the Porto Municipal Collection. Guest editor of #7 Contemporânea journal— Fotografia/Photography. Pedro Crispim initiated his studies on theatre (2010) at Academia Contemporânea do Espetáculo, and graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual (2013) from Escola Superior Artística do Porto. He completed his master's degree in Audiovisual Communication (2016) from Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo, with the dissertation: "O cinema dos espaços fechados: Padrões, temáticas e estilísticas da mise-en-scène em espaços de clausura". Later, he obtained a postgraduate diploma in Screenwriting (2019) from Escola Superior de Media, Artes e Design, and his PhD in Communication Sciences: Cinema and Television (2022) from Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas of NOVA University of Lisbon, with the thesis "Resgates da câmara: Intimidade e unidade de espaço no cinema de ficção narrativo" on the relation between intimacy and unity of place in fiction film. He was also involved in short-film projects, mainly his short-film "Clowns" (2015), winner of the Sophia Student Award, and as Manuel Mozos' assistant director in "The Glory of Filmmaking in Portugal" (2015). He is a professor of Film Aesthetics at ESAP and a researcher at CEAA.

Curriculum

Tiago Vieira da Silva has a bachelor in Film and Audiovisual at the Escola Superior Artística do Porto. He is a PhD researcher in Communication Sciences (UMinho), currently developing his dissertation "Rethinking national identity from the April revolution to the present, through Portuguese cinema", funded by FCT. His areas of interest are the film studies, cultural studies and Portuguese language literatures. He was part of the international project "Memories, Cultures and Identities: How the past weights on the present day intercultural relations between Mozambique and Portugal" (FCT/Aga Khan, 2018-2022) and the national project "Mapping and Critical Senses of the Photographic Archive of the Companhia de Diamantes de Angola (Diamang)" (2020). He teaches History of Portuguese Cinema and Film Theory at Escola Superior Artística do Porto.
