Pedro Faro (Lisbon, 1976). Art critic, Art Historian and Curator. Graduated in History of Art from FCSH - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and in Communication, by the Escola Superio de Comunicação Social de Lisboa. Has collaborated in the magazine L + arte (from 2006 to 2011). Worked as visual arts consultant for the television program Câmara Clara, at RTP2 (from 2010 to 2012). Has developed and collaborated in several activities and projects of investigation, curation, dissemination, criticism and production in the scope of contemporary art. Works at the Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar, since its creation in 2013, producing exhibitions and research on the artist. From January 2017 to March 2019, was part of the direction of the Municipal Galleries of Lisbon (Deputy Directorate for the artistic part). Since 2009, he has been part of the Portuguese section of AICA (International Association of Art Critics).
