The premiere of A SUBLIME LIFE ESAP in the most awarded film in Portuguese cinema1 year ago
Luís Diogo's A SUBLIME LIFE, which studied at ESAP, opened last Thursday, January 24, in theaters.
A SUBLIME LIFE, with 34 prizes, this is the most awarded film in Portuguese cinema.
Luís Diogo studied film at ESAP and António Costa Valente, who co-produced the film, is a lecturer at the Porto Superior Art School.
The participation of ESAP in this film also includes several elements of the technical team that went through the school in its academic course.
In an unusual way in the national cinema, this film has collected participations and presences without memory in our cinematography, especially when all this international presence ends up happening in the short period of 2018, after its premiere at Fantasporto last March.
A SUBLIME LIFE, produced by the Film and Film Club of Avanca, became the most awarded film in Portuguese cinema, with 34 awards in 56 festivals.
The film, with the director's original storyline, tells the story of a doctor, Dr. Ivan, who uses extreme methods to get unhappy people back to a life as sublime as yours.
Starring Eric da Silva, Susie Filipe, Rui Oliveira and Paulo Calatré, this film was shot in Avanca, Paços de Ferreira, Santo Tirso, Porto and Castelo Branco.
