Casa das Marinhas (1954-57) corresponds to what Viana de Lima would call "the solar of modern times". In it is expressed the balance, always present in the dwellings it projects, between the concepts of modernity and those that refer to the traditionalist constructions.

 

Casa das Marinhas is a building that has been classified as a Monument of Public Interest since 2012 and is registered in DOCOMOMO INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION.
